“What if” – two powerful words for all teambuilders

Joe Vitale has a great post on his blog about two powerful words:  “What if”

The favorite question of the mind is “What if?”

For too many people (and teams) this question is asked in a negative or “down” way.

“What if this doesn’t work out?”
“What if I lose my job?”
“What if I’m wrong?”

These questions don’t feel good.  Fear becomes the focus.

Joe suggest we ask What If UP questions

“What if this works out beautifully?”
“What if there was never a
problem in the first place?”
“What if I get a raise?”
“What if my
idea makes me a millionaire?”

This single adjustment in how you ask a question transforms you, your energy, and the very answers you get.
